IMPORTANT NOTICE WHEN CHOOSING A PROPELLER
Aluminum propellers are a good performing and economical choice for stock engine applications. They do not require balancing, thinning, or sharpening which can compromise their strength. They are manufactured in an injection molding process in computer made molds that are nearly perfect by design.
Brass or copper alloy propellers are manufactured by means of gravity poured molten metals in a lost wax process. This process yields a stronger part but one that is less perfect in weight distribution and quality. Brass propellers MUST be cleaned and balanced, as an unbalanced propeller can damage your hardware, boat, as well as your personal safety and the safety of others.
We offer a prop balancer available for purchase and also the service to balance propellers prior to sending them to you. Both metals can be polished to a jewel like finish for a show look, but serves no real performance increase or decrease. We also offer this service. Both services or combined can be purchased for an additional charge. For more information on propellers you can contact us Monday - Friday from 9:30am - 5:30pm Est. @ 863 699-1231.
