With everything installed in my magnum 57 it is hard to get all the dust and debris out from the front of the hull. I try and take the tank out and vacuum in there every once in a while, but this diffuser keeps any and all debris out of your engine. I noticed no speed loss at all after installing. Only problem is that the filter crimps onto the velocity stack, which is fine it just makes the screws on the stack inaccessible. To check the carb bolts for tightness, you must remove the filter. Even with that, I still cant imagine running any motor without some form of protection.
