Warehouse Hobbies / Enforcer Mfg. Co. does
it again!
This new innovation will change Gas
Model Boating as we know it. A revolutionary new concept to an age old
problem, by the people who made it all possible...
Introducing, The Solder-less Drive Cable!
Keeping this a
secret has been a challenge for us for the past several months. Soldering
drive cables can be a challenge, and some customers just don’t want to fool
with it. We just set up to produce drive cables completely in house from raw
stock. Now it is possible for us to produce a concept thought up by Tony over
five years ago. Part of this design also includes a new ferrule, also of his
design that threads on to the prop shaft like our standard ferrule, but
rather than soldering a round cable end into the ferrule as the norm, this
end has a square opening to accept a square male end. Combined with a square
end on your engine...
We are talking
about TOTAL solder-less drive connections from engine, cable, to ferrule!
Let us show you how it works.
This system should be able to replace and be used in
any application that currently uses a cable to ferrule design. This new cable
system should be a permanent part of the Enforcer RTR boat line within the
next couple of months. For our models, standard replacement cable (only) with
dual square ends will be available for sale so you will be able to replace
the flexible cable only for a fraction of the price of a complete drive
cable, ferrule, and prop shaft, no longer requiring soldering. Field repairs can
now be made in minutes.
The new ferrules are manufactured in a much stronger
steel material with a Zink coating to prohibit rust.
Best of all is the price, It has not changed!
Complete stock drive cables and custom cables with up to 18” of flex cable
will continue to sell for- $21.95.
The new ferrule will also be available separately
for $6.95 and replacement flex cables with double squared ends up to 18” will
cost- $7.95.
We are so excited about this new innovation and sure
you will too!

MEASURING FOR A CUSTOM CABLE
How to measure your boat for a custom
Dual Ended Square Cable if using the Enforcer SPD III
or XP-2 Drive system.
1)-Using your current cable simply install into the
drive tube and be sure it is all the way in the engine / clutch receiver.
2)- With a marker make a mark on the cable exactly
where it exits the transom.
3)- Remove the cable and provide us with that
measurement.
If you are using another brand of
drive system.
1)- Complete the procedures 1, 2,& 3 above and
provide us with the determined length.
2)- Measure from the transom to the leading edge of
your drive strut blade.
3)- Provide use with the total length of the strut
blade bearing / bushing cartridge.
