We have added a couple changes to our popular EZ-25WC by offering our newest version of the EZ-25 4P featuring 4-point rubber isolated mounts designed to work with industry standard 5 inch rail spacing. This new system does not require the use of a full isopad or shaft mounting by use of adhesives. With the engine firmly bolted in place in combination with our exclusive sealed nose/shaft tube compression mount, a half isopad is all thats required to secure the shaft tube in place. Our nose mount continues to feature an onboard cable grease fitting that is easily filled with "00" grease by means of a large injection syringe included with purchase of engine. This engine also features our heavy duty dual bearing clutch assembly with industry standard square female power take off receiver. Other features include coil relocator bracket/mount, pulse tap fitting for water pump, and complete throttle linkage installed.
Our unique nose/shaft tube mount design encorporates two large ball bearings to support the clutch drum which is concealed in the nose mount. When installed and coupled to the 3/8" diameter shaft tube, this system becomes a sealed unit. This keeps water that enters the shaft tube from entering the hull. This is the only system on the market of its kind, and exclusive to our design. Notice the grease fitting on the flange, this allows you to fill the cavity with a small grease gun (included with purchase of engine) to lubricate the clutch bearing and also the drive cable, requiring drive cable removal after each daily run.
Shown here is two forward rubber mount pads, one mounted in each rail. The mounts are designed to fit between standard 5" rail spacing. We recommend rails of 1/2" in width when mounting gasoline engines. Note: The coil has been relocated to the right side mount, up and away from the elements.
The EZ-25WC comes as you see it, complete and ready to install in your boat. Including a 12 inch x 3/8 inch shaft tube with teflon liner. This is the exactly power plant used in all factory ready to run water cooled Enforcer boats in production today.
