New one piece precision ground stainless steel prop shaft with 1/4 inch square end receiving ferral. We have incorporated our original idea into a single piece unit with tolerences of .002. This stub shaft assebmly can be used with the popular enforcer SPDIII and is a direct replacement to use with our solder-less cable system, or simply use a square end cable with a round end collet at the engine which will also provide you a solder-less system, which lasts longer than conventional cables and allows you to make quick field repairs in a matter of seconds. A flat spot is machined in place for the set screw on your drive hub. This prop shaft will be sold seperatly for upgrade and included in our RD-1 race drive.

If you are converting from a solder type stub shaft/ ferrule to this new solderless type and are using our SPDIII drive, the following information is necessary for us to make you the proper sized cable:

Remove your SPDIII drive body.
Install a cable into the back of the transom and be sure that it engages into the clutch or clutchless adapter.
Provide us the overall measurement from the square-end to the exit point of transom.
Add 1-1/4" to that measurement to determine the correct size cable for the solderless system.

This will now work in conjunction with the new combination stub shaft ferrule with the prop shaft assembly.
