The SPD III drive system is by far the most popular and widely used amungst gas model boaters all over the world. This system will enable you to get the best performance from your Vee hull by being able to adjust not only the drive but the rudders as well. You will get outstanding turning both left and right, and predictable straight-away handling. The entire system is made in CNC aluminum for light weight and strength. The SPD III can man-handle the biggest of model boats with ease. Mounting the system is straight forward and we have designed the system to be able to work with almost every angle of transom. The twin rudders are designed to "kick-up" in the event of a hard strike eliminating damage to your boat. The SPD III drive is refered to as a "plaining" drive meaning that the drive bottom when provided enough power becomes a water-plaining surface offering more control as you step back of the hulls surface. The SPD III drive system is so well engineered that it is used as shown above on all of Enforcers big Deep Vee water-cooled factory made boats. Another feature is the new solder-less cable that is included with this kit. There is no longer any need to solder which causes damage and poor lifespan of a cable. The ferrule end is broached as a female square to accept the standard 0.250 square end of a cable shaft. For those of you that do not like using the "squeeze" collet on the engine PTO side, we offer a service to provide you a double ended squared cable to eliminate all of the hassles of drive cables.
