The most widely used two-channel pistol grip radio for model boating is the Futaba 2-PL. It features servo reverse and on-board servo adjustment from the transmitter. The 2-PL comes with two standard servos and a 4-cell AA  battery holder, but also can be converted to Nicad operation.
